Since this database is available free to anyone in the U.S. Government version, it is very heavily used. College administrators are
more likely, I suspect, to look to education books and journals for their knowledge needs than to the publications of specific
academic disciplines and subject fields. It might be wise for tourism scholars and researchers to focus on getting some of their
publications about tourism education accepted and published in the academic journals in educaton rather than tourism so as to
reach readership that decide on issues related to the disciplines about specific areas of degree programs at their colleges.
